Clay Walker Paramount Theatre - Denver Concert reviews
Queensryche Rocked
Tate can still sing and sing well, better than the loafs you hear on the radio today. His voice is like a fine wine and has gotten better and more well rounded with age and for that you lose some of the upper range. Well if you know anything about the human voice and vocals you would have a different opinion. The show rocked, the band was tight, Tate was back. Regardless, the performance was the best I've ever seen of them. It blew away Op Mindcrime at Nokia. At times it seems as though you were watching and listening to them in the studio. The vocals and music were exceptional. It would be great to see DiGarmo back and maybe a few tunes from Promised Land. It seemed like the soundman did his job, unlike during MC when the vocals were not clear and faded in and out at times. I've read lots of posts that say Tate can do it anymore and the band has gone flat. He doesn't need to shatter glass anymore, anyone who still waits for that needs to move on. Rage, Empire and American Soldier, three great choices, featuring perfect selection from each. I'm looking forward to the next tour.
